Bird's 8890-300 2.5 kW Series are rugged, oil-cooled RF loads engineered for continuous-duty performance up to 2500 W. Their self-contained design features a precision-tapered resistor immersed in dielectric coolant, providing a low-reflection termination across a wide frequency range. With integrated Quick-Change (QC) connector compatibility, they are ideal for transmitter tuning, test stations, and system protection where long-term thermal stability and reliability are essential.
The 8890-315 and 8890-320 Series RF Loads are high-power, oil-cooled terminations with integrated forced-air cooling for continuous 5 kW RF operation. Designed for non-radiating transmitter testing and system alignment, each unit uses a precision film resistor immersed in dielectric fluid and cooled by a built-in blower available in 115 VAC (315) and 230 VAC (320) models. With rugged construction and optional over-temperature protection, they’re ideal for long-duration, high-power testing in controlled environments. Reliable RF load with integrated forced-air cooling.
